RACC (Richmond Adult Community College) is dedicated to helping adults improve their existing personal or professional skills or develop new ones through a comprehensive range of full and part-time, general and vocational courses. Our highly qualified tutors are not only experts in their subjects, but also understand the problems and stresses students can face. RACC has Beacon Status and Centres of Vocational Excellence in Business & IT and Digital Media & Design. The College was graded ‘Outstanding’ in OFSTED’s latest report which praised RACC for its ‘outstanding value for money, excellent learners' achievements and high standards of lerners' work'. We are committed to ensuring that access to learning is made available for all students regardless of their age, economic, or educational background.

What's on offer
Over 1,000 vocational and leisure courses are offered at RACC, so there is something for everyone. The College recognises that everybody leads extremely busy lives with many demands on their time; consequently courses are designed to run part-time during the day, evenings and weekends. Short courses and workshops are also available.

A wide range of students are catered for including 16-19s, those wishing to improve job prospects, change their career and gain more qualifications or simply take up a new hobby as an antidote to a stressful lifestyle. Many part time courses lead to degree work, further study and/or employment. The following qualifications are offered at RACC: AS and A2, Access to Higher Education Diplomas, BTEC, City & Guilds, GSCE, Foundation Degree, ITEC, NVQs and Open College.
