This course provides students with a critical understanding of how natural resources and the wider environment can be sustainably managed by applying tools and techniques for resource appraisal, monitoring, protection and restoration; it is distinctly multi-disciplinary in its approach to resource and environmental management; the course equips students with knowledge and skills (technical, vocational and interpersonal) for future employment; students chose optional modules depending on their individual needs and interests; the placement option provides the opportunity to apply gained skills in real-world situations.
