The course aims to provide its students with skills required to help mitigate some of the impacts of global climate change; it also addresses issues of security of energy supply, and provides them with the knowledge base and ability to take advantage of the increasing investment in the sector.
Core modules: hydrogen: fuel vector for the future; renewable energy 1:hydro, tidal, wave and bio-energy; renewable energy 2:wind, solar and geothermal; solids resource management; water and wastewater treatment processes and energy and environmental policy and legislation.
