Success and Recognition
Ravensbourne has aimed to establish strong links and specialist associations with industry. Work experience placements are possible with the help of many companies and organisations, including leading international design companies. Ravensbourne has achieved success in several national competitions, such as the Royal Society of Arts Awards (RSA), British Design in Art Direction Awards (D&AD), New Designers Awards and Graduate Fashion Week Awards. Students have gained work experience and work placements in companies such as BBC, Channel 4, ITN, Big Brother, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Alexandra McQueen, Vivien Westwood, Spin, and Dazed and Confused.

Over the past academic year students from all disciplines have succeeded in winning sponsored awards from organisations such as Vitra, River Island, the Chartered Society of Designers and GAP.

Students across the College took up work placements mainly in the UK but also in Japan, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the USA and student work was exhibited in the UK, Germany, Azerbaijan, Spain and Italy.
