All businesses need staffs, who are confident users of IT, but the skills required will vary according to the employee’s job role and the use made of technology by their organisation. The ITQ gives those using IT the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge against the standards set by the Sector Skills Council, and can be customised to meet the requirements of the workplace and the employee. Level 3 (the Diploma) is for those who handle complex tasks and are likely to be working in an IT professional role.
There are no specific entry qualifications, but you must be using a variety of software applications and Information Technology at a basic, intermediate or complex level at work.
