Course Description
Public Relations is a key subject in the BTEC Professional Development Series. It will teach students the ability to write Press Releases and Media relations amongst other things. The course will enable students to identify the key features of advertising and competitive strategies in marketing. The course compares and contrasts case studies and examples from a theoretical base so that students can appreciate real life scenarios. This helps to apply the course in the context of International employment situations. Successful completion and sufficiently high standard can lead to graduate status employment and direct entry to DMS Programmes.
