Course Description
This combined Honours course gives you the opportunity to specialise in two disciplines, providing you with a greater career choice and a range of highly transferable skills. Covering the core aspects of public administration with options that allow you to focus on policy analysis, local government, national and international public administration reform, you will also be learning how to use the necessary research and theoretical tools to be able to analyse social problems and evaluate policy. Important social issues are explored through an investigation of the British welfare system, as well as by international comparisons. A final year project allows you to concentrate in depth on an area of your choice. Part time students apply directly to the University

Assessment method
Continuous assessment comprises written work, oral presentations, interactive workshops, portfolios and project writing. Examinations may also be used.
