The course focuses on the role of government and other agencies providing public services and sets them in a wider social and global context. A range of options allows students to explore policy issues in more depth or to widen their studies, for example, to include business-related subjects. The programme provides a thorough grounding in skills such as communication, organisation and the use of information technology, relevant for management careers in both the public and private sectors.
