'I'd come across a chapter in a textbook on psychosynthesis, describing it as an exploration of both psychology and spirituality intrigued me.

I enrolled in the Essentials course and we explored identity, empowerment and personal freedom. We would all also be taking part in one-to-one therapy –with other members of the group observing us. There were a few gasps around the room…you could tell most of us were nervous at the thought. But, after my session I felt incredibly free as it allowed me to deal with strong emotions I’d been harbouring.

Throughout the course we practiced visualization techniques, did roleplay and movement. My progress was under control and I felt responsible for my own discoveries. I found the experience so positive that I have now enrolled in the Foundation year which will lead on to my postgraduate diploma. Majean Griffith, Foundation year.'
