Psychosynthesis And Education Trust Overview
Intro
The Psychosynthesis and Education Trust is the longest established psychosynthesis centre in Britain founded in 1965.
The Trust's main purpose is to gain recognition for the central role of soul and Self in psychology and to renew the soul in the everyday life of individuals, the family, groups, organisations and society. Our vocation is to address the needs of humanity in a way that is pragmatic as well as spiritual and relevant to everyday life.
We acknowledge both pain and potential in the human experience.
The Trust is a training and accrediting member of the Humanistic and Integrative Psychology Section of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). It is also a member of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and a founding member of the European Federation of Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy (EFPP).
What's on offer
The Essentials Course
Designed as an introduction to the vision, models and methods of psychosynthesis, this course has proved to be of value to professionals from many and varied disciplines wishing to apply the principles of psychosynthesis in their own field. Although it stands as a meaningful, and often life-changing course in its own right, it is a prerequisite of the Trust's Postgraduate Diploma Course in Psychosynthesis Counselling (validated by the University of East London and accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), the Graduate Certificate in Psychosythesis Counselling and Therapy, and the MA Degree in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy leading to United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy registration.
Graduate Certificate in Psychosynthesis Foundations (Validated by the University of East London)

- evaluate and conceptualise the experience of self, life and others within the transpersonal framework of psychosynthesis;
- inititate a study of the transpersonal dimension, including an awareness of superconscious content and the evocation of potential and meaning as essential components of psychological health
- learn the basic skills of counselling and to experiment with the application of psychosynthesis methods and techniques in a safe environment, where self, peer and tutor analysis and feedback can be given
- undertake an in-depth self exploration which promotes self understanding and personal responsibility, including reflection on, and analysis of, earlier life experiences and their influence on the present moment.
