Course Description
Psychology is one of the most exciting and socially relevant of the human sciences. Studying psychology at Kingston will give you grounding in both scientific psychology and in humanistic approaches to the discipline, as well as experience in the practical application of the subject. The course will introduce you to theories of human behaviour, thought and development. There is a strong focus on psychological research and you will study the empirical basis of psychology, including the problems of observation and data gathering. You can also take modules from areas outside the subject, from fields such as sociology, politics, history of ideas, marketing and English.

Teaching and assessment is through a wide variety of methods, including lab reports, essays, objective tests, workshop exercises, short projects, seminar presentations and written examinations
