This course is designed to introduce you to investigative the field of psychology, including the strategies used to uncover the hidden motives behind behaviours, thoughts and interactions. On completion of this course you will be able to: Define and describe what is meant by the term ‘psychology’, Identify the ways in which psychologists explain behaviours, namely psychopathology, interpersonal attraction/ relationships, stress management and infantile attachment behaviours, differentiate between the methods used by psychologists to collate and gather information regarding behaviours, Use the course for personal development and Identify further training opportunities within the field.
