Tuesdays - 10.00- 13.00 year one and then 10.00- 15.00 year two. MA takes a further two terms.
Course Description
Adolescents pose a challenge to all who work with them. The interaction between biological, psychological and social factors is highlighted as contributing to mental health and disorders. This programme explores ways of working with young people and offering an effective service for them. Delivery of the programme is through a combination of theory lectures, casework discussion and advanced theoretical seminars. In your final terms you focus on your dissertation portfolio. Previous students have found this programme provides helpful knowledge and experience in managing complex cases.

Entry Requirements
Professionals whose interest or work is with adolescents or young people. You should be working with two young people, one for at least six months and the other for at least six sessions (individual, group or family work are all acceptable). Diploma is open to those who have successfully completed the Postgraduate Certificate or equivalent course.
