The programme is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; students study essential elements of construction, economics, legal studies and valuation, giving the ability to relate the property industry to other built environment fields and the wider business context.
Year 1: Studies include urban studies; economics; legislation; construction and property valuation. Year 2: Continuation of core skills development; property management; urban planning; construction and property contracts; property development. Year 3: A year long professional placement which may count towards professional qualification. Year 4: Honours dissertation; advanced valuation; corporate property management and urban regeneration.
