This course is offered to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities who wish to develop their personal, practical and social skills through practical activities and experiences, including work placements and volunteering. It covers: personal progress, employability and personal development, work placements and volunteering, life and employability skills, practical activities such as horticulture, catering and customer service. After completing this course participants will progress to progression through to employment or practical work skills programme, further training, independent living or employment.
