This course covers planning and enabling learning (including Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector PTTLS), learning and assessment, theories and principles of learning, managing behaviour, curriculum design and inclusive practice, wider professional practice and subject specialist study.
Students should have A subject qualification at Level 4 or above (e.g. First Degree, HND) or a professional qualification at Level 3 or above with at least 3-5 years full time appropriate work experience in the field in which they wish to teach.
