This course is aimed at those working or who are seeking to start a career in food preparation and cooking. It covers a range of methods of preparing food from preparing ingredients through to cooking and presentation of dishes. It covers subjects that include: cleaning, handle and maintaining knives, hygiene, maintain a safe and secure environment and team work.
Students will also have to reasonable understanding of Maths and English and have achieved a level 1 certificate in food preparation.
