This course continues to develop the skills attained in the VRQ Level 1 qualification, together with additional pastry skills. The course includes the following qualifications: • VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery • ABC Level 2 Certificate for Pastry Chefs • Functional Skills or GCSE Maths or English dependant on entry results.
If you are joining the programme at Level 2 you should have successfully completed the VRQ Level 1 Diploma in Professional Cookery with a credit or have four GCSEs at Grade D or above (preferably including English and Maths) plus sufficient industrial experience.
