A comprehensive programme, addressing all aspects of the education of primary aged children, which equips students with the depth of knowledge, skills and understanding required to undertake the role of a quality classroom practitioner; the programme requires students to demonstrate personal values, attitudes, professionalism and understanding of social justice within the context of the education of children and the broader context of education studies; geography provides a foundation for the study of human, physical and environmental geography; it includes residential fieldwork in Wales and the Isle of Man; students have the opportunity to specialise in either human or physical geography.
