This course is designed for those who wish to develop their knowledge of infection control and will probably be working in the Care or Nursing sectors such as a care home, nursing home, and dental surgery or in Child Care. It aims to provide candidates with an understanding of key infection control issues, to encourage a 'safe practice' culture both for individuals and in the workplace, to provide employers with a structured training programme, which will meet the training, needs of their employees and to encourage career development.
