This course offers the chance to explore the challenges and rewards of teaching and to get a foot on the professional ladder. It teaches students to plan lessons, to support a range of learner needs, to develop a range of teaching and learning activities and methods, and to understand and deploy a range of valid and reliable assessment methods used to measure learning.
Students will need to have subject or vocational qualifications to Level 3 plus evidence of experience and relevant professional qualifications. They should also possess effective communication skills and have a good command of written English. They would normally be expected to have an English Language qualification at Level 2.
