This course will help participants to explain their role and responsibilities as a teacher and the boundaries of that role, describe a range of approaches to teaching and learning plan and prepare teaching sessions, explain how to deliver inclusive sessions which motivate learners and explain how to use different assessment methods and the need for record keeping. On successfully completing the course they will gain 6 credits towards the Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) or the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS).
Participants must have a GCSE English Grade C or above (or equivalent) and a recognised Level 3 qualification in your own subject area.
