This course will allow students to explore the skills necessary to gain employment as an apprentice plumber. Students will be registered for C&G units in plumbing but will not be registered on a formal NVQ or SVQ programme. This course covers topics such as maintain safe working environment when managing non-complex plumbing work activities, maintain effective plumbing working relationships, contribute to the improvement of plumbing business products and services, plan complex domestic plumbing work activities, install complex domestic plumbing systems and components, commission and decommission complex domestic plumbing systems, service and maintain complex domestic plumbing system and components, oil heating systems (optional unit), gas systems (optional unit).
