Course Description
This course is designed to deliver a nationally recognised award which allows successful learners to work in a pre-school setting as an assistant. The course focuses on four units over four terms: Unit 1: Supporting play and learning in the pre-school setting; Unit 2: Understanding and supporting the development of pre-school children Unit 3: Providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment in a community based pre-school, Unit 4: Participating in effective teams in community based pre-school settings. Learners will be expected to find a placement before the start of Unit 2 working once a week with pre-school children. Learners will be supported in improving English, maths and IT skills. Advice, interview and assessment required.

Fee Band A - Min £85 Max £795. Fees are individual and are calculated at the time of enrolment.
