Course Description
The course teaches the basic financial management techniques valuable to a small business owner. The topics covered include preparing a cash-flow forecast; creating a business plan; book-keeping systems; understanding accounts; preparing a VAT return; comparing legal structures for a business; and an introduction to taxation. The course looks at how these techniques should be integrated into all areas of running a small business.
