Course Description
This course is designed for any person involved in hatchery operations from Hatchery managers and supervisors through to operatives. It aims to highlight the welfare issues that relate to this crucial part of the operation. Training consists of group work, discussion and PowerPoint presentation. Areas covered include chick handling; embryo development; vaccination grading; chick holding; transportatio hygiene and bio security.
