About

POTTERY PASTIMES

I have been a practising potter for over 20 years providing courses and workshops to the general public. My main area of expertise is one-to-one tuition on the potter's wheel but I also offer pottery courses without the use of the wheel.

If your desire is to make pots on the wheel, then be careful not to join a course with more than 4 students. The number of pottery wheels available is irrelevant - it is the potter who can show you the technique, not the machinery.

Learn to make pots on the potter's wheel. Use the wheel every week under the potter's guidance and instruction. The structure is based on your learning curve and you are not expected to keep up with other students. You will make a pot on your first day - guaranteed.
