Course Description
Introduction to the specification, design and implementation of software systems. Designed for graduates of disciplines other than computer science, who have some experience of computer programming and wish to build on their existing knowledge. Course content: Object-oriented Programming (Java); Software Verification and Testing; Software Analysis and Design (UML); Database Technology; Network and Internetwork Architectures; Java e-commerce Intelligent Web Technologies; Concurrent and Distributed Systems. Collaborative Group Project, individual project in industrial or academic environment.

Formal examination and coursework (some modules are assessed by coursework only).
Entry Requirements
Minimum 2:1 Honours degree in any numerate or logical discipline. Applicants whose first language is not English should have an average IELTS score of 6.5, with at least 6 in each component. We don't accept TOEFL.
