Course Description
This course provides recent graduates with a practical introduction to the oil industry. It is held from late June through September and includes four required modules of 15 credits each. In a short time, you will acquire the basic skills to take up immediate employment or move on to a masters programme. Apply undergraduate geology skills and understandings to the needs of the petroleum industry. Investigate the content, thought processes and technical skills required of tasks onshore in reservoir and data analysis and offshore as a mudlogger. Explore the commercial side of finding and developing petroleum resources. Enter a petroleum service company immediately as a mudlogger, reservoir analyst or data analyst

Entry Requirements
First or Second class degree in a geoscience subject (IELTS of 6.5 for non-native speakers of English).
