Course Description
Students take modules in the subjects of advanced network routing and switching, network administration, personal and organisational development, organisational behaviour, enterprise networks, secure systems, IT project management, organisational management, research and development methods for IT.

Assessment method
A broad range of assessment methods will be used, measuring all aspects of the student's understanding and skill application. These will include examinations, written assignments, laboratory practice, presentations and a dissertation.
Entry Requirements
A good honours degree in a relevant IT related discipline or an honours degree combined with relevant professional is required. Applicants must have a current Cisco CCNA certificate or equivalent experience. Applicants without this level of network experience will be registered for a preparatory course which is primarily distance learning (Internet) based with a final two week laboratory based period.
Venue Description
Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places. Guidance and advice may be available for all aspects of student life. Facilities/Support are available for students with learning difficulties. Facilities/Support are available for students with visual impairment.
