Course Description
Course Structure - Management Training: You will be trained to: evaluate business and management problems in an analytical and critical manner; understand the tools and techniques of key management disciplines; and evaluate theory in key thematic areas, such as managing change, organisational effectiveness and quality management; Technical Training: Examples of topic areas where units are available include: Transport planning and engineering; Control of vehicle noise and vibration; Computational fluid dynamics; Maritime engineering; Intelligent systems; Environmental engineering; Control engineering; Information systems; and Yacht and small craft design; Research Areas: Traffic forecasting and management; Information management and control engineering; Integrated transport technologies; Public transport; Transport infrastructure; Systems integration; Environmental impact studies; Vehicle, maritime and aerospace applications; Noise and vibration; and Materials technology. This list is intended to give a broad overview of the research areas available, but it is not definitive.

Course Fees
2007/08 full-time: taught/research fees - £3,240 (PGCE - £3,070); part-time £1104 (PGCE £880).

Upper second-class honours degree or higher (or equivalent).
