Course Description
This study covers: medium like bricks and mortar and space. Work of the architect is considered as spanning between the hard materiality of building and the re-programming of existing space. Interactive way of working throughout, by going into a particular subject in depth, and then designing through a process of documenting, sketching and model making and the computer equivalent of all these.
Course Fees
Fees for 2007/08 were £4,550. Tuition fee levels for 2008/9 and 2009/10 have yet to be decided.

Entry Requirements
Higher quality first degree in architecture, interior design or a related discipline and should have at least one year's experience working in a design office. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to your major discipline and an ability to respond to stimuli from unexpected sources. Evidence of sensitivity, invention, curiosity and a readiness to engage in a rigorous and demanding two years is essential. A portfolio of no more than six completed projects together with any relevant supporting design material. This must include sketchbooks. CD ROMs are admissible but not models or videos. If you wish to gain exemption from RIBA Part 2, you need to have completed your RIBA Part 1 satisfactorily. Candidates selected on the basis of their portfolio will be invited to attend an interview at the college.
