Course Description
Programme Overview: A Skillset Screen Academy Course. The aim of the MSc Computer Animation course is to produce graduates with the range and depth of technical skills necessary to become future Technical Directors within the computer animation and computer games sectors. The course is oriented toward the creation of graduates with a combination of artistic sensibilities, problem solving and technical skills. The skills and experience gained can be applied to the role of technical director within the animation and games industries. Where Technical Directors often have to work alongside computer animators and resolve technical problems by either configuring existing software tools or designing new tools.

Entry Requirements
Normally applicants should have one of the following in the fields of computing, mathematics, engineering or science: An honours degree (typically 2:1 or above) A professional qualification or diploma recognised to be equivalent to an honours degree Industrial experience deemed to be equivalent to an honours degree All masters candidates are expected to attend an interview. If English is not your first language, you will need an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or TOEFL scores of 90 (internet based), 232 (computer) or 575 (paper)is normally required.
