Course Description
This course brings together a range of expertise that is particularly relevant to the new environment in which communications systems operate. The economic implications require public policy, through a regulator, to determine the rules for competition. The interaction between the regulatory issues and system implementation is crucial. Semester one includes Communications Theory; Communication Networks; Multimedia Signal and Image Processing; Regulations in Network Industries; Computer Technology and Modern Programming Concepts.
