Course Description
The programme focuses on the use of the computer as an aid to developing architectural designs at the conceptual level, rather than as a means of generating production information. It is concerned with investigating ways of generating shape & form using computers, & covers both evolutionary algorithms & simulation models taken from artificial life & mathematics.

Assessment method
There are eight units of assessment consisting of one 3,000 - word essay & six technical reports & programming/modelling exercises, culminating in a 10,000-12,000 word thesis.
Entry Requirements
An honour degree in architecture, exemption from RIBA Part 1, or an honours degree in a subject connected with the built environment. Application are also welcome from mature students without these qualification.
