Course Description
The course develops knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for the graduate to work as speech and language therapist. Also develops the competencies to assess and manage a range of communication and swallowing disorders. Course contents: biomedical sciences; communication; participation and society; research methods; key clinical skills and clinical practice.

Assessment method
Examinations, coursework, dissertation. Continuous assessment of clinical work, case presentations, clinical examination.
Entry Requirements
First or upper second class honours degree including a large component of study in a relevant field such as psychology, linguistics or biomedical science. Candidates with degrees in non-cognate fields will be considered if they can demonstrate a record of working in an area relevant to speech and language therapy (eg. as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant).
Venue Description
Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places.
