Course Description
This is an opportunity to join a distinctive advanced Management and Organisation studies scheme that is informed by the Arts and Aesthetics. This is an unusual approach and one that might be presently unique to the University of Essex in England. Successful applicants can initially expect to follow the same scientific-led introduction as more traditional approaches to the advanced study of Management and Organisations. However, as the scheme progresses, students will be challenged to draw upon a different set of influences that originate mainly from Europe and that demand a new perceptive relationship with the character and potential of Management and Organisation life in the twenty-first century. The scheme will expect new challenging forms of thinking from course participants, requiring both imagination and novel conceptual understanding. Scheme participants will be expected to follow this content with a final dissertation in an approved area. Successful graduates from this scheme can expect to offer a unique range of abilities and insights ranging from the traditional, to the more innovative and original.

Good first degree or equivalent relevant subject area; IETLS 6.5 or equivalent for those whose 1st language is not English.
