Course Description
The course content provides a sound, broadly based education covering the fundamental principles of cost engineering, data management, product and project development cycle and business processes; it also contributes to the increased efficiency of engineers and streamlines communication with both customers and suppliers; learning is enhanced by the sharing of best practice across different industry sectors; students are introduced to general management concepts and practice in the teaching modules as well as individual projects.

Compulsory modules: Cost engineering; data management; optional modules; manufacturing industry stream: business process analysis and engineering; enterprise computing; knowledge management systems; whole system design; operations management; product evaluation and validation; product lifecycle management; requirements engineering and concept generation; process industry stream: business process analysis and engineering; enterprise computing; introduction to process systems engineering; knowledge management systems; whole system design; process plant; operations; project management; requirements engineering and concept generation; sub sea oil and gas exploitation; sustainable resource management.
Entry Requirements
1st or 2nd class UK honours degree; or an interntaional equivalent in a relevant subject; applicants with significant work experience are considered.
Venue Description
Accommodation may be available to those undertaking certain learning opportunities and the institution will provide details. Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places. Guidance and advice may be available for all aspects of student life. Facilities/Support are available for students with learning difficulties.
