Course Description
The course is intended to create animation and game art specialists who are able to use advanced problem-solving skills and demonstrate critical awareness that is underpinned by accomplished technical abilities. As well as acquiring essential production skills, you will develop your ability to work in collaboration with students from other disciplines, as well as relevant presentation and interpersonal skills, which are greatly appreciated by employers and a vital component of working with clients when producing to a brief. Traditional art skills are highly valued and you are encouraged to research and experiment with traditional techniques in the development of your digital artwork. As well as acquiring essential software expertise, you will develop high-level abilities to innovate in this fast changing field.

Assessment method
The assessment strategy throughout the course is based on 100% coursework in most modules. The Masters level will be assessed by a written dissertation.
Entry Requirements
Successful completion of BA (Hons) in a relevant artistic field. Students are normally invited to interview and will be required to present a portfolio comprising of a range of traditional and electronic art.
