Course Description
This programme combines a rigorous professional education with industrial experience to prepare a competent manager capable of identifying client needs, applying material, financial and human resources and delivering programmes, products and services at a profit. The content outlined below is provisional and may change slightly: Human Resource Management; Marketing; Finance and Decision Making; Operations and Information Management; Research Methods; Equine Industry Management; other more equine specific topics, eg welfare; Dissertation. You will have formal lectures, tutorials, discussions and seminar groups. There is an emphasis on self-directed study appropriate to individual module learning outcomes and research interests. Students will have access to the wide range of resources at Hartpury College, both in support of their learning and research. A well-stocked Learning Resource Centre provides extensive IT facilities and electronic databases and journals to support students' work. In addition to the resources at Hartpury Campus, students are also encouraged to attend research seminars and make use of the additional UWE resources available.

Standard tuition fees for most one year full-time postgraduate programmes (taught and research) are £3,263. Course fees are subject to change and you are advised to check the current details with the course provider before enrolling on this course.

Entry Requirements
Applicants normally have an honours degree (2.1 or above) in Equine Business Management, Equine Science, Business Management (with appropriate content) or other related subject.
