This course will provide an introduction to the principles of portrait drawing, and will develop students’ drawing technique using a variety of media including soft pencil, soft pastels, pen and ink. During the course they will cover topics including: explore different techniques in portrait drawing, drawing styles, drawing techniques, develop their abilities in recognising proportion and form.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however a genuine interest in portrait drawing would be beneficial.
