People employed in the construction, repair, maintenance, refurbishment work based industries. The assessment of practical work and job knowledge, over a range of units together with the collection of work based evidence into a portfolio. This is the NVQ level 2, which is gained by a programme of work, including site visits with assessor. Practical work based assessments/evidence by students, and support from assessors in completion with site visits. This is a nationally accepted route for the experienced worker to gain an NVQ qualification, the student will already possess the majority of skills required to gain the qualification.
