This course helps students to develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required for professional plastering. Course content: Safe working practices in construction Information quantities and communicating with others Building methods and construction technology Erecting and dismantling access equipment and working platforms Fixing dry lining and plasterboards Producing plaster components (mouldings etc) Producing plaster casts Applying plaster on to complex internal and external surfaces Producing screeds and granolithic finishes Producing in-situ mouldings After this course: Progression to level 3 qualification in Site Supervisory Studies or employment.
Students need to have Level 2 Plastering.
