Course Description
This course is composed of 4 units, relating to plants families, their uses and ornamental qualities. The units will cover plant identification, plant selection and associations, plants to attract wildlife and a wide range of propagation techniques. By the end of this course participants will have studied a range of garden plants in detail, including their identification, uses and propagation.
Course Fees
£166 for Home and EU students; £600 for International students; £26 for college registration; £19 for exam fee; £25 for Supplementary Resource Fee; additional costs extra; free for those aged under 19
Assessment method
Participants will be assessed through projects, worksheets and four unit tests.
Entry Requirements
Participants must have some prior knowledge of plants and gardening or either an NOCN Intermediate, NVQ 2 or RHS 2 Horticulture or similar.
