Course Description
This course is designed for experienced pipeline inspectors or individuals with a knowledge of pipelines. The main aim of the course is to provide all the information required for candidates to go on to attempt the Agricultural Inspector examination available under the BGAS-CSWIP scheme. The course content is largely theoretical but all relevant practical subject areas are dealt with such as land management and map reading in relation to pre-entries. The course content includes general understanding of agricultural operations, interpretation of strip maps, reportable diseases, field drainage, farm or pipeline fencing, topsoil strip, excavation and drain marking, backfill, civilisation and ripping, reinstatement, key environmental issues and reporting. Excellent preparation of BGAS-CSWIP certification routes.

Candidates must have some knowledge of pipeline construction.
