Physical geography: This course gives a detailed understanding of the physical environment, including geomorphology, hydrology, climatology and ecology; students gain knowledge and skills to help understand and investigate contemporary issues of environmental concern from local to global levels. Information technology: The course introduces students to computer systems, programming, GUI applications, and systems analysis; topics can include web page design and the internet; networks and communications; multimedia; graphics technology; databases; research methods.The course is weighted 75% major and 25% minor subjects.
