On this course students understand the science that shapes the planet, from global systems in year 1 to environmental policy in year 3; they develop practical skills such as geographical information systems and surveying, and have the ability to analyse the physical environment to a high professional standard; on the geology aspect of the course, students explore how to identify and exploit natural resources, as well as environmental concerns, geohazard analysis and engineering geology.
