The physical geography course studies the processes structuring the natural world and the environmental management issues that arise as a consequence of such processes; students gain an understanding of the global environment and how problems relating to it impinge on all our lives; the education course lays the foundations for themes of study in the 1st year which are developed in the 2nd and 3rd years; policies and issues in education introduces basic concepts relating to the planning of curricula and school systems; child development and young children learning begin the study of the cognitive and social development of children and adolescents; students choose from the following modules in the 2nd year; psychology of learning and thinking, continues the study of cognitive development.
