Course Description
Photography Workshop demonstrates techniques, equipment and materials with practical projects on location and in the studio. Starting with the basics of manual camera control, exposure control and use of different lenses, filters and film the course moves on to lighting techniques on location and in the studio. Exercises on composition, viewpoint and perspective help to develop the use of visual language and encourage aesthetic exploration. Students also experiment freely with a wide range of creative techniques such as bleaching, toning, cross-processing, lith printing and liquid emulsion which help to develop a unique, instantly recognisable style.
