This course provides the skills and understanding necessary to embark on a career within the photography and digital imaging industries; it provides an insight into the techniques and technologies of a broad range of both historical and contemporary photographic practices; there is an emphasis on production and presentation, supported by conceptual development (the core skills required of a professional photographer).
Modules include: Core photographic skills; digital photography; creative communications; the constructed image; experimental approaches to image production; histories of photography.

There is not a great structure to this course. The learning environment is not the best. The lectures are great. The library is available for use 24 hours Monday to Sunday. The outcome has been really great. It has made a big differenc...more
